Use of the Information
NTC may collect different information in order to operate effectively and provide our customers with the best possible catalog of products, services and online experience. The collected information may include: (i) user’s particular information such as: e-mail address, first and last name, home address, telephone number, IP address and web browser; (ii) cookies, web beacons and similar technologies that collect non-personal information about the use of the Site; and (iii) any other information deemed commercially relevant.
Such information, however, may only be collected and analyzed by NTC for with the sole intention of improving our catalog of products, online shopping services, the Site’s navigation experience, including for promotional purposes, such as: providing news, updates, coupons, special offers; sharing or posting of customer’s reviews of our products and services; set up sweepstakes or contests for NTC’s customers; and/or conduct customer’s satisfaction surveys.
Information from Social Networks and Platforms
Our Site may contain links to or integrations with other sites such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest, YouTube, etc., whose information practices may be different than ours. When you engage with our content on or through third party social networking sites, plug-ins or applications, you may allow us to have access to certain Personally Identifiable Information and Non-Personally Identifiable Information from your social media profile (e.g., name, e-mail address, photo, gender, birthday, location, user files like photos and videos, your list of friends, people you follow and/or who follow you, the posts or the ‘likes’ you make, etc.) to deliver the content or as part of the operation of the Site. We may also obtain Non-Personally Identifiable Information (e.g., content viewed and information about advertisements within the content you have been shown or may have clicked on through third-party platforms) from your interaction with our content.
NTC undertakes and represents to take reasonable precautions to secure our customer’s information from unauthorized access, use or disclosure. Users of our Site and customers are warned, however, that the Internet and electronic databases may be subject to interception, fraudulent or criminal activity, and thus the user or customer provides such information at his/her own risk.
NTC does not intend to sell, rent, lease or disclose our customers’ personal information to unaffiliated third parties. However, NTC may contact a customer on behalf of external business partners about a particular offering that may be of interest of the customer. In those cases, the customer’s personally identifiable information shall not be transferred to the third party. During the normal course of our business, NTC may sell or purchase assets or equity. Should another entity acquire NTC or any of NTC’s assets, information collected about NTC’s customers may be transferred to such entity. In addition, if any bankruptcy or reorganization proceeding is brought by or against NTC, such information may be considered an asset and may be sold or transferred to third parties as such.
